Privacy policy
Capital Commentary receives the information you choose to send through correspondence: your name, reply email and message. We store that message in the site database and send a copy through an email relay so the editor can respond. Do not include confidential personal information.
Security and essential records
Our hosting provider and Cloudflare process connection information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver the site, manage abuse and protect forms. Cloudflare Turnstile checks form submissions. Admin sign-in attempts are recorded for security and kept for seven days. Only signed-in editors receive the essential editor session cookie.
Affiliate links
Labelled paid links may connect to CJ Affiliate or MaxBounty offers. The site records aggregate counts by day, placement, offer and referring page. The click table does not store your name or email. The provider may use cookies and process information after you follow its link, under its own privacy terms.
Retention and your requests
Correspondence is retained while needed for replies, corrections and administrative records. You can ask us to remove your message or correct personal information by writing to correspondence@capitalcommentary.org. We may retain records needed to handle abuse or meet legal obligations. Backups may hold earlier records until they expire.
External sources
Archive records and other cited websites have their own privacy practices. Following a link sends an ordinary web request to its operator.
