Faith, public justice and the work of citizenship

About Capital Commentary

Capital Commentary is a current editorial project about faith, public justice and the habits of civic life. We consider how people with different convictions can share institutions, take responsibility for their neighbours and disagree with care.

Reading the historical material

The domain has a history of commentary on these subjects. Our historical topics collection links to source records and distinguishes the dates of that evidence from the dates of newly written treatments. The current editorial project is responsible for the writing presented here.

How we work

We aim to make an argument's assumptions visible, link readers to sources and correct errors when they are identified. Essays are edited for clarity; their claims should be judged by the evidence they offer. Send corrections with the article address and the relevant source through our correspondence page.
